Era I The Pour MMXXVI

Rayim Clay

The shell must shine
for the soul to survive.

Rayim Clay. Molten chrome poured over the eyes, running down the face in metallic streaks. Black and white.

I blinded myself
to see.

We blind ourselves with molten silver to block out the sterile lies of the world and reveal the raw, bleeding truth underneath.

Rayim is not the name. It is the sound of it, the way his mother said Rahim. Clay is the mortal half. What burns, what bleeds, what stays warm under the chrome.
